Tezos will issue grants blockchain developers
Tezos Foundation announced the start of issuing financial grants to research teams in the development of blockchain-based solutions and smart contracts on the basis of Tezos.
Tezos Fund will provide grants to four research institutions, namely Cornell University, Universidade da Beira Interior, the University of Illinois and the French IOI.
Emin Sirer, GWI will lead a team of Cornell University to “develop protocols applicable to Tezos”, paying close attention to sharding. Portuguese Universidade da Beira Interior claim to four of the grant, with the development of 2 master theses and two Ph. D. project focused on optimization of control over the actions of robots in the factory and on the development of smart contracts for factory robots. Grant French IOI “focused on education and training Tezos developers”. The research group of the University of Illinois, in turn, will focus on creating “available online documentation and resources for developers Tezos system”.
Recall that in June, after many months of discussions, the network Tezos was launched and started operating in beta mode. Also in July, the Tezos announced the commencement of the internal audit activities of the company, which will hold the auditing firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
